Aubrey/Maturin: Patrick O'Brian
|
Jack Aubrey and Stephen Maturin are the two main characters in a series of
books written by Patrick O'Brian (pob). They are set in the 18th century,
during the Napoleonic Wars. Jack Aubrey is a Captain in the Royal Navy, and
Stephen Maturin is a Naval Surgeon and Doctor, as well as an intelligence
agent.
This series has been called one of the finest examples of
historical fiction ever written. There are many sites with links concerning
