Re: [NewPacifica] Re: [freekpfk] How Was Miguel's Protest?

Shiu,

I think you are obsessed and agitated. You really ought to take a rest.
War is what governements do and they send the kids there, so what's new?

What you represented is that the "working class" as you call it cares more
about 911 than anything else. I did not say that, YOU did.

That is factually an incorrect statement, which can easily be verified by
asking people out of the blue about their life concerns.

I have already told you before. You project your own fantasies and hang ups
on other people and wish that the world would be in your own image. That's
narcissism.

The people do not care much about 911 until you point out that Saddam's face
look evil. Actually, I heard some women say that he looks rather virile. The
fact that we spend 87 billion bucks to wage war on Iraq is no more
significant than the fact that Enron stole 200 billion bucks. What people care
is that
the subway ticket is now $2 and that their rent goes up faster than their
wages. No judgement here, just facts.

Your insistence that the $2 is related to the $87 billion is old news and
cheap wisdom. Mostly, it changes nothing. It gives you some good conscience
but
being at Flushing Meadows with immigrants next saturday is more meaningful.

So don't apologize for being crude, if it hurts your self image. What you
don't like is that I pointed out how "un-objective" you can be sometimes. Is
that so hard to take?

Do you ever think of anything else than the goddamn towers? I was there I
saw them hit, I saw them fall. I predicted that people would sue on this very
list and was called names for it. It's like the Kennedy assassination. It
fascinates and it is so murky and spooky, you'll never find your way out of the
disinformation and the conspiracies. It ain't that important anyway who blew
up the towers and how many stoopid human bombs armed with boxcutters there
were. One black friend of mind simply said: the chicken came home to roost.
He
did not care what colors the feathers were. Whatever we find on these towers
will not enlighten anyone. No one cares. They only fantasize. They worship
and they mourn. It's a ritual. The truths of rituals bears no fancy
explanations: you eat the flesh and you dring the blood. Don't try to ask too
much.

I know you don't get it, but please be kind enough to at least read what you
write before you push the enter button.

Fred
