Do not trust them. Get to the station and vote before midnight today!
IF THEY LIED ABOUT SENDING REPLACEMENT BALLOTS, THEY CAN LIE ABOUT AN
EXTENSION!
Note the "deniability": NOBODY actually SAID there would be an
announcement; Ratner floated a "draft" describing something that MIGHT
happen. If people are suckered into delaying and losing their vote,
Ratner can say "don't blame me! I said it wasn't official yet, I said
it was just a draft of a possible plan!"

Try to get to the station this afternoon or evening to file your
ballot if you have one. If you do not have one, try to get there to
file a PROVISIONAL ballot.
Maybe they will extend, maybe they will not.
NO official announcement has been issued. NONE. Dale Ratner
floated a "trial balloon", a draft, which may or may not be followed
by an official decision and announcement.
Even if it is extended, how do you know that legal challenges
won't prohibit counting of ballots filed after the original publicly
announced deadline?
But if you absolutely can not reach the station on Friday (today),
do NOT throw your ballot away. It MIGHT be accepted later.
If you do NOT have a ballot, you have all afternoon and evening
(until midnight) to get a PROVISIONAL ballot at the station on
November 16.
If the deadline really is extended, how sure are you that you can
get to the station for a provisional ballot on Nov. 23, the day after
Thanksgiving, BETWEEN 3:00pm and 7:00pm, the time proposed in Dale's
"draft"?
Get to the station NOW. Call the receptionist before 5:00pm (well
before) to be admitted to the building: 212-209-2800. Failing that
(later) call Kathy Davis, at (212) 209-2826.
Bring photo ID with a name that matches the name you called in,
exactly (Bob Fass had trouble because called in as "Bob Fass" and his
ID said "Robert Fass").
