  Dear Fellow Americans:
  1. Support H.R.220: Common Sense About Identity Theft and REAL ID
House bill H.R.220, short-titled the ?Identity Theft Prevention Act of 2007,?
introduced by Rep. Ron Paul on January 4, 2007, purportedly would:

reduce identity theft by prohibiting the use of a Social Security number for
any purpose other than for specified Social Security and tax purposes;
prohibit the federal government from establishing a national ID or uniform
identifier system; and
prevent federal agencies from using federal grants, contracts, or funding
(the carrot and stick strategy) to compel or blackmail states into adopting
uniform ID standards that would create a de facto national ID system.
The establishing of a national ID card has far-reaching ramifications, with
the draconian potential that someday every citizen might be required to use a
trackable national ID card in order maintain a livelihood or function in
society. Furthermore, the REAL ID rebellion among the states over federal
requirements to make state driver?s licenses serve as a national ID card
demands the fullest possible debate in Congress on the entire range of
legislative options, including the plan of H.R.220. This bill should not be
swept under the rug by a committee.
Help get H.R.220 out of committee and to the House floor for a vote. Ask your
congressman to cosponsor H.R.220 if he or she has not already done so.

  Thank you!
Your friends at The John Birch Society
We must preserve this mass movement for the defense of liberty; which
Ron Paul has created, without regard to what happens in the election.
Ron Paul has created a mass movement for the defense of liberty
Ron Paul has done what I, and many other people, have tried to do for
forty years.
This movement must NOT evaporate away after the election:
without regard to how the campaign, or the election, goes.
The election is just ONE BATTLE in the war for liberty.
Even if Ron Paul WON the election this war for liberty will not be finished.

   Thomas Jefferson said:
"The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."

  I add to this:
"The battle for freedom is never won, and is never lost.
The battle for freedom always continues.
It is never too late, and it is never soon enough, to defend freedom.
No matter how enslaved we are, we always have hope.
No matter how free we are we are never safe."

We could WIN the election, and still lose the battle for freedom,
if we fail to maintain this mass movement for the defense of liberty.
Ron Paul cannot do everything by himself.
The masses, organized for the defense of liberty, will be needed to
influence Congress to support President Paul.

We could lose the election, and still WIN the battle for freedom,
if we maintain this mass movement for the defense of liberty.
Our liberty is in our own hands.
  President Paul would inspire us...
BUT it is still up to us!

The freedom message walks on water.
Ron Paul is a human being, who puts his pants on one leg at a time.
Ideas; not individuals, are the life force of lasting revolutions.

We must formalize the organization of the mass movement for the defense of
liberty.
We must DO THIS NOW, while the enthusiasm still survives.

Regardless to the phony polls and the vote fraud,
  WE ARE WINNING!

If you are in this group,
we know that you are not one of those 80% of the people,
  who never know what happened.
At the very LEAST you are watching things happen.

The question is whether you want to be one of the
15% of the people who watch things happen.
OR one of the
5% of the people who MAKE things happen.

One of the biggest differences between the John Birch Society,
  and almost every other organization,
  that you may have known,
is that we have AN ACTION AGENDA.
Many people are surprised to find out that
there is actually something to DO ABOUT all of these problems.
It is NOT our goal to make you into the most knowledgeable patriot
  in the entire concentration camp.

We want to live the rest of our lives in peace and freedom.
To do that, we need to TAKE ACTION.
We also need a lot MORE PEOPLE,
  who will TAKE ACTION.

  The John Birch Society publishes a monthly bulletin;
which is filled with action items.
If you are not yet a part of the action agenda,
  it is time to join.

The John Birch Society and its publications, including The New American, have
never endorsed or "supported" candidates or political parties.
I have not yet met any John Bircher, who has not personally chosen to support
Ron Paul.
The John Birch Society does report truthfully.
Therefore, Ron Paul looks as though he is receiving their support since he is
the best candidate. That 100% rating is for this session of Congress. Ron
Paul's 20 year lifetime voting average is 99+%, with 100% being his most
frequent score.

Congressman Ron Paul endorses The John Birch Society; congratulates Society
in its 50th year
APPLETON, WIS. ? April 4, 2008 ? Congressman Ron Paul has endorsed The John
Birch Society in a statement received from his office this week. His statement
also congratulates the Society on being ?a great patriotic organization? now in
its 50th year.
John McManus, president of JBS, responded, ?We graciously accept Dr. Paul?s
endorsement. He continues to demonstrate what an elected official should be
doing ? obeying the Constitution. We thank him for his continuous commitment
to protect the freedoms of all Americans. There?s a reason why he consistently
rates toward the top of the Freedom Index, our Congressional scorecard rating
legislators? votes published twice a year in The New American magazine.?
Dr. Paul stated, ?The John Birch Society is a great patriotic organization
featuring an educational program solidly based on constitutional principles. I
congratulate the Society in this, its 50th year. I wish them continued success
and endorse their untiring efforts to foster ?less government, more
responsibility ? and with God?s help ? a better world.??
Dr. Paul has also agreed to be the keynote speaker at the Society?s 50th
anniversary celebration, Oct. 2-5, in Appleton.
Now in its 50th year, the John Birch Society, headquartered in Appleton,
Wis., is dedicated to restoring and preserving freedom under the U.S.
Constitution. Members come from all walks of life and are active throughout
the 50 states on local, regional and national issues. United by a strong
belief in personal freedom and limited government, plus a sense of duty,
members have played a continuous, pivotal role in halting legislation and
federal policies that threaten the independence of our country and the freedom
of American citizens. Visit www.JBS.org for more information and see why JBS
continues to fulfill its founder's vision of ?less government, more
responsibility, and ? with God's help ? a better world.?
