Is David Griffin on board with these guys along with all the Griffie nuts?

Terry,
I don't think this guy reads email, I think he just generates it. If Melinda is correct, and this man is a part of Capt May's email group, like the PNB's Ken Freeland, he is in the company of a lot of kooks.
I was once thrown off one of Ken Freeland's Yahoo groups after I publicly questioned (or was it make fun of) some of Captain May's more overt anti-Semitism. "Jews this. Jews that." These people discuss, among other things, George Bush's Weather Control Machine which is in Alaska apparently, and "obviously caused Katrina" as well as other natural disasters. I don't believe that Mr. May is completely harmless.
They take the fun out of conspiracy theory.

The use of ALL CAPS is characteristic of spam. Intelligent spam
filters like SpamAssassin will score a message based in part on the
occurance of all caps in the message body and subject line.

Captcha technology is used to frustrate the use of web-based mail
servers by spamming robots. It has no application with respect to the
bulk of internet email, which is sent via personal computer based mail
clients (Eudora. Outlook, etc.).

If you don't like Captcha or other human-verification technologies,
don't use webmail -- just switch to a mail client like most grownups.
Once a user has been verified as human by Captcha, that program's work
is done. The alleged "censorship" being described is a function of
Yahoo!'s SpamGuard, not Captcha, and is at the receiving end, not the
sending side. Recipients without spam filtering receive spam sent via
Yahoo! mail after Captcha verification in the normal manner, although
the sending of such messages using the Yahoo! mail server is a
violation of Yahoo!'s Terms of Service.

Messages from the FreedomOfSpeechNow group have been forwarded
unsolicited to numerous group and individuals at the request of John
Perna, so have a high probability of being identified as spam by
intelligent spam filters, including Yahoo!'s SpamGuard. Yahoo! mail
users can toggle their spam preferences to have such messages
delivered to their main inbox, to their bulk mail folder, or simply
deleted. The Yahoo! Mail default is to route spam to the bulk mail
folder.

Individuals wishing to understand internet technology and the threats
of government surveillance or censorship should gather information
from more reliable sources than a Yahoo! Group spammer. Yahoo!'s
