[NewPacifica] Re: lament. Could "private ownwership" be the A.N.S.W.E.R.?

Nalini you must remember that Democracy Now is "privately owned" and
that the "owners" of Democracy Now can do what they want to with it. And
that is just like the Pacifica related listservs are "privately owned" and
the "owners" of the Pacifica related listservs can do what they want to with
them That is the new Pacific a culture and the standard pattern and practice
and everyone seems to be very satisfied with such "private ownership" of all
things Pacifica. And it fits right into the mass media which is "privately
owned" and into the corporate American "private ownership" of just about
everything.
So, Naline, unless you become and "expert" like Any Goodman and you
start your own "Democracy Now" (really "UnDemocratic Now and Always"-
"uDN")) you are just going to have to be satisfied with the "privately
owned" UnDemocratic Now and Always (uDN) and with the decisions of the
"experts" on the PNB (who are the "private" deciders of all things
Pacifica).
Of course nothing is stopping you from starting your own radio station
either - hey just like you are the "decider" of your own "privately owned"
Pacifica related listserv and then you can ban censor and ban any one what
you chose from it and can decide any and all content on it UnDemocratic Now
and Always (uDN) and the PNB can Censor and Ban and make all the decisions
arbitrary and without any input whatsoever from anyone. And hey maybe you
could call your own "privately owned" radio station (or radio network)
"Nalini's PacificaRadiowaves."
    It is ALL "privately Owned".
YEA "privately owned" corporate America and YEA "privately owned"
Corporate Pacifica.

Jim "And everyone is pretty happy with things so let's rejoice. Now
let's get back to the very important and infinite in-fights about who gets
to be the 'private owners' and thus the 'deciders' of one thing and another
thing and just about everything - who be the 'experts' - who be the
'important ones', who be the 'great ones' - who be the 'private owners'?"
