We Members are in the dark. What are the "grim choices" that Lonnie has told the Finance Committee that Pacifica faces? Why can't these be discussed in Public? I'd love to be positive. How about if we get Minutes from the Committee actions so that we have information to be positive about? This is another critical part for those of us who wonder what info is being kept from the Members? The last time that a PNB kept critical information from the listeners there were three massive Lawsuits and the "remedy" was to give Members voting rights and to completely rewrite the Foundation bylaws. Therefore, a little transparency would be much appreciate. There is only ONE set of Minutes from the Finance Committee in 2008, that one from January. It seems a bit hypocritical to tell the Members, now, that we still don't get to know what is going on in our network. listen to 3:45 _http://kpftx.org/archives/pnb/pnb080625/pnb080625c.mp3_ (http://kpftx.org/archives/pnb/pnb080625/pnb080625c.mp3) Can we be given a bit more reassurance than just accusing us of being "critical"? By the way, in regards to the July meeting....I hope that every committee puts their many positive Motions on how to move forward in writing, in advance, so that people aren't going to be expected to hear something read and then vote on it without having had any time, whatsoever, to digest the info.
