This set also has this in it, "expand the Mission (???)" and that's highlighted in yellow. It seems like they really are pretty drafty minutes. I've been the Secretary of the PNB Governance Committee for the 4 years of is existence. I've got all minutes of all meetings posted. And it's been annoying to me to see some notation on some official Pacifica Foundation Web site saying that the minutes for that committee just aren't there. I could easily post them if only I could be given permission to get them to the site(s). I tried couple of years ago and I just did not have the password or access to do it. And yet there was some Web page on that official site saying that the minutes of the Governance Committee meetings were not available. I'll also note that Pacifica is addicted to the narrow formats of the Microsoft products. And this is a problem. My minutes are in "Rich Text Format," .rtf files. These files are cross platform readable and do not require that people purchase Microsoft's proprietary software to read a proprietary format, although all MS Word versions will read these files as will every other word processor I know about. I think that it would be good if Pacifica migrated away from the restrictive .doc and .xls formats and started getting into the more standard formats. But that's another battle. I would certainly link to minutes of PNB meetings and maybe even to minutes of PNB committee meetings. I might consider posting the minutes themselves on my Web site if there were a bunch available and if no one lese posted them. > Our secretary tended to be detailed on things that interested her, > but notably brief on other matters. On the WBAI LSB we are still waiting to see the draft minutes of the March 16, 2006, LSB meeting. About 3 or 4 sets of minutes between then and now have been submitted and a couple sets approved, but we were missing about 25 sets of draft minutes the last time I counted. -- http://www.glib.com/ ------------------------------------ New Pacifica Working Group http://www.egroups.com/group/NewPacifica 'Save Our Stations!'Yahoo!
