[NewPacifica] Nalini bans such arrticles - Man fatally shot by Inglewood police - July 1, 2008

Nalini BANS information about the recent killings by the Inglewood
police and about TODAY's killing by the Inglewood Police and the protest
meetings scheduled for tomorrow.
Opps I guess that Nalini does not recognize the emergency of the three
shooting by the Inglewood Police and the shooting by the Inglewood Police TODAY
and the meeting that are being called to protest those choosing tomorrow. So
Nalini then bans me for posting those articles. Go Nalini! and Go Pacifica!!
Information about such Police Abuse is just Not Pacifica business according
to Nalini (she after all she is the OWNER and chief Censor and Banner and
decider of what is Pacifica business)
But just maybe if Pacifica did actually allow information about the
disgusting recent killings by the Inglewood Police then just maybe Pacifica
might actually be doing something to benefit the community and Pacifica just
might gain some listeners. But nope - Nalini bans such information from her
Pacifica related listserv (which she OWNS).
But if the article was about how good "business" was then I am sure that
Nalini would think that the article was very much Pacifica business.

Hi Jim:

I've removed you as a member of the Pacifica Radiowaves list because you are
unwilling to respect the posting guidelines or simply oblivious to the purpose
of the website. It just seems easier to do this than to keep writing you over
and over again year after year. My list has a narrow focus and I want the
readership to know that it is not a shouting match or catchall for non-Pacifica
related submissions. In fact, for the first two years there were no
submissions other than mine....it's not designed to discuss the topics of the
day. Since you send every post to about a half dozen other lists, I'm sure
we'll all be getting your mail anyway.

I'm sorry and saddened to hear about the shooting incident. It sounds truly
awful, a terrible tragedy for all involved, especially the victim and his
family and neighbors. Good luck to you all.

Take care,
Nalini
