What is also true is: Working Class People have been miss-educated to hesitate
and be fearful of making a mistake...i.e. "Getting the wrong answers".
The "Masses" are conditioned and trained (in their families of origin) to be
fear-filled, and indecisive. Procrastination is (not just) the thief of time,
it's the one mental-block the Ruling-Class depends on the worker (-bees) never
understanding nor ever replacing.
Jim/All, another truth is that: "Annalist Brings on Paralysis" and if you want
to truly get-going and achieve any worth-while goal "One, NEVER should put the
problem-solving stage ahead of the decision making stage/phase. Because, the
problem solving stage will turn on itself and most get frustrated, fatigued,
burned-out and quit.
Any who think we need a PLU can try MAKING the DECISION FIRST, TAKE A STEP,
AND ANOTHER IN SUPPORT OF THAT DECISION, and AND IT WILL GET DONE!

For the PLU to become a reality it wouldn't take many, it never does! What it
will take, is for a person to be willing to step out side the box of fear and

I think that first we need procedures and some structure - otherwise how
would I or anyone know what the rules are to use the funds etc. And there is
sure to be disputes on this considering that this is Pacifica.
Usually there is at least a DBA (does business statement) filed and/or
incorporation papers filed. DBA are simple and easy to do.
And then there as to be some rules agreed on. Usually that means some
By-Laws etc.
And wouldn't it be better to have some sort of finance committee
(preferably elected) and/or an elected Treasurer? Surely there would not be
just one signatory on any bank account would there?
The above sounds complicated but really it is no that hard to do. And it
can be done simply and quickly. And I can help with any of it that people want
me to.
I would rather not accept funds personally though - since I prefer to be
more of an advocate and it is best in my opinion to keep the funds as separate
as possible from controversy. And I do not think that I will be "separate
from controversy" for the next 2,000 years or so.
But the job of Treasurer is very simple so why is it need that I do that
job?
And then there has not been any discussion as to what we even need funds
for at all. What is the purpose of the funds????
I do not see why funds would be the first task at hand in forming a
Pacifica Listeners Union or what ever the group might be called. Some
discussion of the purpose and activities of such a group needs to be done does
it not?
And a whole lot more people would have to get involved before any real
things could get done by the proposed groups would they not? Why don't we work
on that?
