To date, I want to thank "Sydney" for not swollowing the bate, and to "Nick"

Two people (among many) at KPFT who knew better, and said little or nothing,
was Kevin White, and Wendy Schroell..
Silly
of me, but I did expect more from Kevin White, because he has professed to
be a friend. And, for Wendy, for knowing that her husband Scooter for
months slandered me (live on the air waves of KPFT) with the same BS.
His attacks grew in aggression, over months, as the GM, PD and LSB acted like
deer
caught in head-lights. They did nothing to stop Scooter, or hold him
accountable.
It took a
Public Statement from Ray Hill that categorically dismissed
and rejected any homophobia or anti-gay history or behavior (on my
part) that succeeded in silencing Wendy's husband.
Ray Hill based my exoneration on the years we had known one another, and other
gay men, he knew, that also knew me. Ray's statement, I'm sure came as a
surprise to my would be political assassins, (except to the GM who knew of my
work with men) because they, knew nothing of my friendships and decades of work
with gay men, and as one of the founders and President of The Men's Council of
the Houston Area, and as an active member of the New Warrior's Training
Adventure; and other, for male organizations.
Still, Scooter's poisonous seeds
sprang to life during my campaign for the 07 KPFT LSB. A gay
programmer (live on air) repeated similar accusations, for which, the election
supervisor, imposed a suspension for violation of the election campaign rules.
The point here is: Melinda Iley-Dohn had full and complete knowledge of the
above key facts and events, when she knowingly suggested that she knew and had
read words written by me,
that showed a hatred of, and for gay people.
Melinda, Wendy and Kevin, all knew the truth, because they were at the
LSB meetings (for public comment), or active on a number of standing committees
where I had lodged my complaint about management's do nothing approach; and
they all were sent Ray Hill's statement.
Why, Malinda, made
these statements, and why, those who knew them to be false, remained
silent, are good questions, but in light of the many other acts of
silence, on this list, and with Official Pacifica silence, (such as, the
recent attack on a 12 year KPFA Volunteer Programmer) shows that the
observation made
by George Jackson many decades ago, is as true today, as it was then. He said:

Color doesn't matter much in cases like this other than to hide the facts of
the sad unfolding events. I'm always amazed at how well fed relatively safe,
