To Pamela and to all the other "moderators" and "owners" of Pacifica
related listservs:
Would each and all of you please "moderate" each of the e-mail messages
so that only people who are politically correct and proper can post
messages? We need to be protected from improper messages (from improper and
bad people) reaching our eyes and each and all of you "moderators" and
"owners" are oh so very good at being sure that only proper messages that
you approve of reach us.
We thank you greatly for protecting us and for getting more and more
pure e-mail messages to us and keeping all the bad stuff from reaching us.
That is after all what Pacifica is all about - purity and goodness and
free speech (of the right and proper type) and such efforts will Save
America as it has Saved Pacifica.
Keep up the Good Work.

And this is a good example of why Fred is moderated, as part of the
ongoing effort to maintain the quality of posts here. Left
alone, Fred is prone to making libelous attacks against certain
people, and short of that, to making pronouncements out of whole
cloth like the one that I inherited the NewPacifica list from someone
else. That has no basis in fact and only exists in Fred's head. As a
matter of fact I was the first to set up a list on eGroups, which was
later acquired by Yahoo. I volunteered at a time when no one else
knew how to do it, or even thought of doing it. It set a trend, and
other Pacifica lists on eGroups soon followed. And NewPacifica has
never been a "private list" as Fred contends, because unlike some
other lists, everyone is permitted to join this list, including Fred.
