Thanks so much to Bob and Barbara Goldberg for making the elections
(14 of them) possible by ballaot counting and handling the ballots,
for video taping, and for being there. Thanks also to Albert Solomon
for his videotaping as well. Kudos to Chris Farrell for doing most
of the ballot tallying, and for Jim Krivo for helping out with that
task as well. Thanks too to Frank LeFever and Ken Laufer for the
help with the balloting, for Jamie Ross and Kathy Davis for
transporting the sound equipment to and from the station, and to Ray
LaForest for the use of his comfortable space and gracious extension
of the time when the hour got late. Much gratitude to the new GM,
Anthony Riddle, for being there and setting the tone for a new,
improved LSB and thus a successful WBAI ahead of uw.
All board members except one were present. Most votes reflected the
14-10 shift in the balance of power on the LSB. New board members
are Jennifer Jager, Seth Goldberg, Bernardo Poloumbo, and Robert Gold
(out of the country this week).
The Independents are looking forward to a productive year of working
with Tony Riddle and the PNB as well as with members of the LSB to
move the station forward. Here's to a new, improved WBAI!
