I should have said that this was sent to Friends_of_KPFT as a Open Letter. K

To all,
It's been a while. Glad to be back.
We have a new schedule at KPFT. It does seem like, for the first time, that there was a little community input in this one. There are a few crumbs of improvement; even if "Yes Man" Sandy Weinman has an even longer radio show.
A second showing at 6 PM of Democracy Now! is refreshing, however, as I drive home from work at 5 PM, with the most of working Houston (I can see you on the roads and highways), it's STILL not exactly the same as broadcasting it in the common drive time.
But let's face it. Duane Bush's aproval ratings are at a all time low. He's
politically tone deaf. But he couldn't just ignore everyone forever. (Could he?) He finally allowed change; but still is too petty to allow it to be done it the way he's asked. He's too 'in charge' for that.
Oh, I'm sorry. Did I really type "Bush" instead of "Bradley"? I meant "Bradley."
My bad.
But the evening drive time is not what this is about. This is about the lack of a morning drive time news show. That's what this is about.
I drive to work every morning at 7 AM and try to tune in once in a while to KPFT (when KTRU is off the air or KTSU is not particularly interesting). Is this Hee Haw radio show; Fill In The Morning, really still on KPFT instead of a good Morning Show like every other decent Pacifica Stations?
Fortunately, there's a CD player in the car.
Isn't it finally time that we put down our collective banjos, stop our pickin' (and our grinnin'); pull up our sleaves and broadcast some decent prime time programming?
Instead we have programmin'.
All I alone here? Isn't now the time to take the station back?
