Title: Re: [NewPacifica] Griffin
I am a fiction writer. When it comes to politics, I want facts, not tabloid narrative, though my old boss, Max Scherr, sold a lot of newspapers by taboiding left news.
Let's have a debate on Griffin that uses opposing FACTS.

Quote: In The New Pearl Harbor, Griffin summarizes the work of other researchers who assert that elements of the US government were involved in the attacks on the Pentagon and the World Trade Center in New York City. He uses his training in logic to analyze the validity of their arguments. Griffin states the overall thesis of his argument: There should be a well funded and thorough-going investigation of all the questions raised about the 9/11 attack. Griffin also appeared on C-SPAN 2 when he delivered his talk, '9/11 and American Empire: How should religious people respond?'[1]

Howard Zinn, the author of A People's History of the United States, calls The New Pearl Harbor "the most persuasive argument I have seen for further investigation on the Bush administration's relationship to that historic and troubling event."

Do you know what the 911 truth is or do you feel investigating commercial books offered online may have varying degrees of truth in them? How do you feel about Chomsky, Zinn, and many, many others promoting books on and off the web? Amazon.com or Pathfinder Press?
Anyway, what's "web site historians"? Be specific.
You're telling us all such who do sell the truth are not to be trusted. Seems to me anyone who sells the truth should be trusted not that I'd necessarily buy their product. /R

Chompski just flat out doesn't buy 911 conspiracy theory. Flat out. What disturbs me from the web site that Richard provided is the fact that they are charging money for the revilations. Why turn political outrage (and the dealth of 3000) into product?
I remember the months following 911. All the SUVs had plastic america flags. Americans always thought that the foreigners were so far away.
I wonder what would have happened if Gore were president?
But I digress.
I don't trust web site historians who sell the truth.

Dear Avis,
Being one blinded to the truth by Griffin's paranoid delusions, perhaps you could let me know what the truth is?

He makes me gag. Yeah, I know there's a germ of truth in most paranoid
projections. I also know that compelling narratives like Griffin's can
blind people to the truth. The Bushies have created lots of lying
narratives. But I think, if you'll excuse the _expression_, Griffin is nuts.
