Hi,
I would recommend going with Novell BMEE, as you have a pure Novell
environment. BMEE will integrate well with the NDS and allow you to have
added security features from the NDS as well, at the same time, it is not
too $$$. All you need for what you mentioned is just the Firewall and Proxy
component of BMEE, and as with the rest, it is not required as yet.

Hi There,
Well the first thing is that if you have a way to access the network by
getting
around the firewall so does someone else. Dial in is not going to be very
secure.
Well if you have 3 computers, unless you have a hub, switch, etc to connect
the 3 machines you will not get all of them on the net.
The firewall from Linksys is good from what I have heard, the firewall group
has
a good things to say about Sonicwall. That would allow you to not have the
hub also. I believe that the sonicwall is going to be more secure then
Linksys.
Back to the PC Anywhere, you would not use a switch (Firewall) with
that kind of device That is mainly for a network connection. Again if you
can bypass
the security with a modem, so can anyone also. NOT a wise idea. Why do
you want
to bypass it anyway???
Also one thing I would highly recommand is that you join the firewall list

Follow the instructions on the list when you get the message back. Also it
can be
a fairly active list. So you will get a moderate amount of mail.
Does that help some?? If not ask more questions.
