Hello Barry, Someone else out there might be able to recognize the port # as typical to a certain application/use; however, speaking in general, ports 1026 through 65535 can be used and configured for any type of application or FTP action. It is not necessarily reserved/configured for one particular use or application although there may be one out there that typically uses this port...? Call me off-line and we can dicuss further; especially if you have additional information and I am sure one of the engineers here can help you move forward. Thanks and good luck, Ken Ken Day eSTG Security The Net's Best Thing for Cyber Security 800-861-9430 x241 -----Original Message----- From: Barry Hudson [mailto:bhudson@fsbnk.com] Sent: Monday, June 11, 2001 11:56 AM To: firewalls@lists.gnac.net Subject: port 24452 What is port 24452/tcp used for?
